Few things, if anything, are better than the first several 7 Seconds records. 7 Seconds have been on my most-wanted-to-see list for probably going on 20 years now and I finally got to see them this year in support for the 10 year anniversary Bouncing Souls tour. The 7 Seconds set killed. Kevin Seconds needs to be lauded for his ability to maintain vocals while having armies of stage diving kids vying to dog pile him. Many of them were successful. Really fun show, but now I understand why Kevin has taken up acoustic shows as of late.
Of course they played “99 Red Balloons”, which I find to be perhaps the best cover ever made. The only real contender that I can think of at the moment is The Jesus & Mary Chain’s cover of Bo Didley’s “Who Do You Love.”

That is, indeed, an excellent cover. Thanks for this.
