Lush
First Avenue
Minneapolis, MN
5/10/96
This was the one and only time I saw Lush, but I wasn’t the one who made this recording. The absolute highlight of the show for me was getting to the club early (I think I had a comp. ticket, which was/is pretty common for First Ave. shows) and Miki was standing there playing the pinball machine that I always played. I went up to play after she was done, but she offered to play “Two Players.” One of my best moments of ’96.

WOW!
I only saw them once as well (at Bogarts in Cincin.) but I didn’t get to play pinball with Miki! Incredible story…
Thanks! I saw lush two times during Spooky. Miki was so nice: after the Paradiso-show in 1992 -which went not too wel (Emma even said: This is the worst gig of my life)- Miki came to us for autographs. She smiled and signed (I still have it): If at first you don’t succeed, love Miki
